2019 Tour info

SERVA and Girlsport plan to offer up to three tours each year.

The tours will cater for athletes in the following levels:

1: competitive volleyballers;

2: State Level volleyballers; and

3: Elite Level volleyballers seeking a Scholarship for that year.

These tours are ideal for any athlete:

- eager to secure a scholarship in the USA to play volleyball and study

- that wishes to obtain or broaden their international experience.

AAU Championships, Orlando Florida

June 20 - July 7 2018

AAU (American Athletic Union) invited us to send a team to compete in the AAU Volleyball Championships, 2018.

The team of 11 players and 2 coaches was supported by SERVA (Vic), Girlsport and Sandstorm (QLD).

The AAU tournament had more than 200 teams and over 500 College Scouts. The Orange County Convention Centre was running 160 courts. The Disneyworld ESPN Centre courts were live streamed around the world.

The tour provided players with the opportunity to play against teams from Puerto Rico, Columbia, Slovenia, Israel, Dominican Republic and China plus USA teams.

College Tours and visits to Division I, Division II and Junior Colleges included:

University of Florida

Sante Fe University

Eckerd College

University of Central Florida

University of South Florida

Florida Southern College

Beach volleyball was played on Cocoa Beach and St Petersburgh Beach

In Addition to the AAU tournament, indoor and Beach volleyball scrimmages, we went to:

- Disneyworld

- NASA

- Cocoa Beach Wharf
